When John Robb, Vice-President of worldwide intercession for World Vision and one of the leaders of the International Prayer Council, contacted United Prayer for Hollywood in the summer of 2001, a new initiative for global intercession for Hollywood was the result. Known as the Hollywood Transformation Coalition, a once-every-three-months all day worship/prayer and networking gathering takes place at Hollywood Presbyterian for ministry leaders and Christians in media. An instructional video titled "Hollywood Transformation: the power of prayer" was presented in South Africa during the fall of 2002 to hundreds of prayer leaders from around the world. The Hollywood Transformation website presents updated information concerning ministry initiatives dedicated to help transform Hollywood.
