I started teaching Math concepts in 1972 and retired from teaching and tutoring with 2005. Over time I experienced many different changes within mathematics knowledge; but when i now examine in more detail their outcomes, I see that none of people changes possessed any serious positive influence on mathematics education and learning. Sadly, some of those changes actually caused more harm as compared to good.

It has grown to become my objective for retirement to make a significant positive influence on mathematics education—specifically with Algebra because of its 50% failure rate.
