In the Word (John 15:1) Jesus boldly says He is the Vine and we are the branches. "He who abides in me bears much fruit", He goes on to say, "For without Me you can do nothing." Like the wind in the trees, God is also supernaturally working below the surface of our lives; roots and branches grow because they are abiding in fresh and fertile soil. In this busy life we lead, how vital it is for us to rest in Him and allow Him to fertilize our spirits. We can then thrive and not just survive.
